Sharing From The Heart

In this week’s Testimony Mountain, I share about a recent difficult session I had with my prayer minister, Jo Getziner.  There was much redemption in it and a demonstration of the power of True Jesus that I wanted other survivors to see and understand.  To me, this is the joy set before us.  Even in the midst of horrible things we experienced, True FAMILY have a way of restoration.

In this week’s Testimony Mountain, I share about a recent difficult session I had with my prayer minister, Jo Getzinger.  There was much redemption in it and a demonstration of the power of True Jesus that I wanted other survivors to see and understand.  To me, this is the joy set before us.  Even in the midst of horrible things we experienced, True FAMILY have a way of restoration.

However, after I published it, I realized that I had left out something very important.  And I will share about it next week on the next Testimony Mountain, but since I’m writing this now, I can correct the impression I might have given.  If you haven’t listened to it, you can by clicking here

What I need to correct is that it makes it sound like the session flowed from one thing to another in a powerful way with True FAMILY.  And yes, it did that, but between was much agony and tears, doubts and fears.  I sometimes “rate” how a session is by how many Kleenex I use during the session and this one there were quite a few!  The reason I want to correct what I shared is that this work is really hard.  I don’t want to give the impression that I had this easy, amazing session where everything was laid out neatly.  Often when we share things, we share it after it has been processed with True FAMILY and “sanitized” from the pain and agony we experienced in living this, even though it was a big breakthrough.

I want to honor all survivors and the difficult work it is to work through these things.  True FAMILY are with us step by step and Their grace is amazing.  But our humanity often struggles to face these things and I want to be real about the challenges and not gloss over it.  If you are a survivor, I want to encourage you that you are brave to face these things and that there is a way through with True FAMILY.  You can do this!
