Overcoming Fear

A friend and I were discussing world events recently and end-time cult programming and she said something so insightful.  “Fear triggers end-time cult programming.”  What a set up!  Who isn’t afraid when we see the news or hear reports of what is happening?

If we look at the wind and waves, it will be easy to sink into fear.  There’s a lot to be afraid of right now.  We are not sticking our heads in the sand, dissociating or pretending it is all fine when it isn’t.  However, when we reach out our hand to True Jesus, we find that He does have a way through the challenges we are facing.  He sees the end from the beginning and has a way through.  The question is are we willing to trust Him?

I’ve come to reframe my life as being safe within True FAMILY’s hands.  This doesn’t mean bad things don’t happen or that I won’t experience challenges.  It means I am not alone.  I can face these challenges with courage and faith because I know He will work it all for good, even the bad stuff.  It is His promise to me, not some spiritual platitude.  He is the Author and Finisher of my faith and I believe He is writing a good ending.  It might be bumpy for a while.  We might not have the luxuries or conveniences we are used to.  We might have to explore new ways of doing things.  Change is coming.  How are we positioning ourselves with True FAMILY? 

This is key especially for survivors who have end-time programming.  If we allow fear to creep in and trigger, we might end up playing into the hands of the cult’s agenda.  I believe we are here for such a time as this.  Not for destruction, but for God’s glory.  Standing firm with True FAMILY, believing, listening, following Their lead.  This is the way through.  It doesn’t mean that fear disappears, but we are no longer shackled by it.  We might have parts who are in terror, but we can bring them to True FAMILY for assurance and comfort. 

Will there be challenges ahead?  No doubt.  How we walk this out will be determined by whose hand we are holding and where our gaze is fixed.  I am choosing to trust True FAMILY and to believe for Their way through the challenges.  Are you with me?
