Morning Prayer 4

In this series of blogs, I thought I would share some explanations about the Morning prayer by Jo Getzinger, my prayer minister.  Some of you have asked questions about these prayers, so I will take it paragraph by paragraph.  Some of it might seem obvious, but I think this can be helpful for all of us.  If you’d like to see the full prayer you can go to www.Care1.org or purchase Prayer Warriors from Amazon. 

This is the next paragraph:

“Please minister to my parts according to Your perfect will and timing.  Make me aware when they need anything from me.  Teach me how to pray for them.  Reveal to my parts the truth of who You are and of Your mercy and love.  I stand in the gap and repent, on my own behalf and on behalf of all of my parts, for any fear, unbelief, pride or rebellion.  Please bind all demonic, all ruling and shared spirits, for me and for my parts.”

I used to wonder if I was really “saved” because I hadn’t led anyone to the Lord.  However, since discovering my trauma journey and understanding about parts, I’ve had the privilege of leading many of my parts to True FAMILY!  There is much joy in this and it is part of this prayer – learning how to minister to our parts and to pray for them.  Is that a new thought for you?  It was at first for me. There is a cooperating between us and True FAMILY in ministering to our parts.  Some people tend towards doing all the “work” ourselves and others can be passive in just leaving it all to True FAMILY.  What They really desire is for us to work together with our parts for wholeness.  It shouldn’t be a burden or a “have to” but a joyful part of our journey with True FAMILY. 

Just like we can intercede for our generational bloodline, we can also intercede for our parts.  As the presenter/host, we get to yield fully to True FAMILY and trust Their process with us and our parts.  In the area of repenting for fear, unbelief pride and rebellion, I like to include all of these because I can be assured I have parts who are afraid, who don’t believe, who are proud and in rebellion.  I might as well include all of it! 

Some have asked about “shared spirits.”  This is where in mind control programming, a demonic spirit is connecting two people together in a shared agreement or ritual.  We want all of these dealt with for our freedom and for theirs.  The more “work” we do with True FAMILY in restoration, the more it impacts those we were programmed with and programmed by.  This is the good news!  What we do matters.  I am encouraged to keep on  my journey knowing it is not just about me, but that my breakthrough impacts you and vice versa.  Let’s do this together!
