Joy in the Journey

A lot of the time I feel like I have the best job in the world!  Ken and I just finished a beautiful prayer intensive with someone from our community.  There was such a richness and glory to the reconciliation and healing that True FAMILY brought.  Does every session end this way?  Not always.  Often there are hard things to face and there isn’t the fullness of restoration every time.  At least not yet.  But there is hope.  And that is what keeps me going and many in our community.

I equally love the weekly groups.  Although we discuss difficult topics, we are doing it together in God’s love and that makes the difference.  Most of the time I leave a group feeling refreshed and grateful.  The relationships being built are priceless!

You would think dealing with trauma survivors (and being one myself) would be a discouraging job, and admittedly sometimes it is.  But the overall experience is one of hope as I daily get to witness the little miracles, changes, joys and even sorrows we get to share together.  My heart is to see the triumph of God’s love from every trauma I’ve experienced and it is a joy to see that in other’s lives as well.

If you haven’t experienced one of our groups, I encourage you to pray about joining one.  We will be opening up new groups at the end of January.  If you are interested in learning more, we will be having two Q & A Zooms – Saturday, December 6 and January 17, both at 2pm CENTRAL time.  To attend, please RSVP to me at Adena@Transformations.Community.  I hope to see you in one of our new groups!
