Who We Are

Together Becoming Who We Are

We are a community who are growing and learning together what it means to live the abundant life that True Jesus died to provide for us and to see the triumph of His love even from the tragedies we've experienced. Our group identity statements are below - a little snapshot of our values and beliefs.

Transformations Community Group Identity Statements

Jesus, Our Foundation

We, as a community, are believers in the True Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation, redemption, deliverance and restoration through His death, burial and resurrection.

Our True FAMILY

We, as a community, believe God is relational and expressed through Father God, True Jesus and Holy Spirit whom we often affectionately call “True FAMILY”.

Scripture and Relational Experiences

We, as a community, believe in the Bible as an inspired relational account of God’s dealing with people through the millennia that provides a foundational guide for our lives along with our personal encounters with Him.

The Power and Love of God

We, as a community, believe in the power and love of God that is more powerful than the enemy or any false system.  We acknowledge pain, brokenness and sin, but see it all in the light of God’s restoring love.

Seeing Through Heaven's Eyes

We, as a community, choose to see ourselves, each other and our circumstances as God sees them.  When we forget who we are, we lovingly remind each other.

Learning To Be Our Best Self

We, as a community, choose to be relationally authentic, accountable and honest in our relationships with God and one another.  This means seeking to do life together as a community without hiding or shame.

Facing Our Pain

We, as a community, choose to work through challenges in relationships instead of simply running, hiding, or burying issues. We bring things into the light of God’s love and seek restoration where possible.

Growing From Glory to Glory

We, as a community, are open to change and willing to see different perspectives.  We come to conversations with curiosity instead of enemy mode (fear).

Living Joy

We, as a community, seek to be high-joy people and help one another grow in our joy capacity.  We see negative emotions as appropriate warning signs that something is not right and take healthy steps to resolve those things so that we can return to joy.

Experiencing Shalom

We, as a community, value rest and encourage each other in the beautiful rhythms of God’s timing and cycles of rest and joy.

Valuing Each Other

We, as a community, value all people, regardless of where they are in their journey.  We believe that the strong and the weak together grows us all in maturity.

Celebrating Uniqueness

We, as a community, recognize different gifting in the Body and value each person’s contribution, whether hidden or obvious.  We all need each other to function in healthy ways and celebrate each other’s differences.

A Little About Me

Adena Korpi is the founder of Transformations Community, a non-profit ministry for survivors and the people who love them. She is also the creator of the Transformations Curriculum and Group Support model, which is an on-line learning and Zoom-based group experience that focuses on trauma education and healing through relationship with both the Trinity (i.e. the True Family—Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and others in community.

In addition, Adena is the host of Testimony Mountain, a weekly YouTube and Rumble video podcast focused on releasing stories of the power of God’s love to transform lives through teachings and guest interviews.

Prior to her current leadership roles, Adena focused on prayer ministry in churches, developing a strategic prayer model for pastors and leaders that impacted many churches and prayer teams while also building community. She holds a Masters in Christian Leadership from William Jessup University.

Adena is passionate to see people restored and walking out their true identity in Jesus.  She loves to teach, write, and facilitate group encounters with God. As a complex trauma survivor herself, she understands the complexity that faces those who have experienced similar things. She has discovered keys that has helped herself overcome that she is honored to share with others.  With a compassionate heart, wisdom, and practicality, she inspires those she mentors in groups as well as those she ministers to in one-on-one counseling sessions walk out their transformed life.

Windows Into My Soul is Adena’s third book.  Her first two books were written before memories surfaced of her trauma.  Three Easy Steps Towards Revival was written while she was an intercessory missionary in her local house of prayer and embodies three of the powerful prayer tools that impacted her life.  The Inheritance is loosely fictional as well as partly autobiographical. It is a light-hearted tale that also has an impactful message of redemption and God’s love. Her fourth book is in the works and focuses on the theme of biblical paradoxes. It is scheduled to be released in 2026.  All of her works can be found on Amazon.

As a Christian leader for most of her life, as well as a survivor of mind control and SRA, Adena straddles two unlikely communities.  Most churches do not know how to help survivors and are not equipped to do so.  Adena has a passion to see this change through education and compassionate care.  If you are a church or ministry leader who would like more information about survivor issues and how you can help those in your congregation who may be struggling with complex trauma, please reach out to Adena directly at adena@transformations.community.

If you are an individual who would like more information about how Transformations Community can help you (or someone you love) heal from trauma, please visit www.Transformations.community to see what we are all about. You can also reach out at support@transformations.community.

TRANSFORMATIONS COMMUNITY FAQ

How Can Transformations Help Me Heal From Trauma?

Healing from trauma is a very personal journey that takes time, attention, and care. Sometimes what is needed is group support, sometimes one one-on-one mentoring, and most of the time a re-education of just how trauma can affect us emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually, often years after the original traumatic event, experience, or time period has passed.

What is unique about Transformations Community is that we have services and opportunities for all facets of your trauma-healing journey. The Transformations Curriculum is designed to educate you about healing trauma within the protection and intimate relationship with the True Family of God and also provide you with a solid education on how trauma (as well as systematic programming) affects the brain based on both neuroscience and psychology.

Transformations Live Groups are designed to create loving bonds of friendship and support between individuals healing from trauma. We heal best when we heal together, according to the latest successful models for trauma healing.

Finally, we offer one-on-one sessions that are done in a faith-based environment by caring trained facilitators and also led True Family. You can learn more about one one-on-one sessions by visiting our Get Help page or emailing adena@transformations.community.

And, of course, don't forget our FREE OFFERINGS which include a public Saturday Community Connection Gathering, weekly interviews on Testimony Mountain, and more! Also, be sure to take advantage of 7 FREE DAYS of our super popular series Meditate on Me. You can find more information about that offer HERE.

We suggest that you take some time to get familiar with all that we have to offer on the website and feel free to reach out to adena@transformations.community if you have any questions or want to know how you can get started on your healing journey out of trauma and into the vibrant life that God intends for us all!
